SunshinePreps has surpassed the 1000 video mark for the class of 2007 and we are nearing the 100 mark for the class of 2008 as well. The 2008 video coverage is in high gear for the college coaches and much of this occurs behind the scenes but SunshinePreps continues to bring you a sneak peek with the Play of the Day feature. SunshinePreps will continue to be on the front end of prospect coverage and today's "Play of the Day" brings you two impressive plays from a 2008 DB. Watch this player make the Pick 6 in the..... We head back to the Jacksonville area in search of talent. Among the many kids in the area, a sleeper exists over at Ribault High School. Chris Summers missed a few games last season but when he was on the field, he made plays. With his size, he will certainly be one to look at. Although the footage I had was very tough to work with and some plays could not be used, take a look at Chris in action during last year. SunshinePreps will try and update Chris's senior footage so stay tuned.

Over the past month, my travels have taking me from one end of the state to the other. With hundreds of game tapes in hand, there is a great deal of work ahead. The good news is each and every year there has been an increase in coverage and expect nothing less for this year as well. In the past 24 months, over 2000 Florida prospects has been featured on the website. This year, SunshinePrep's coverage will be as big as ever. As I mention below, the 2008 prospect coverage is in full gear and there are many more 2007 prospects who will be hitting the front pages as well.
Want a sample of the 2008 coverage? Take a look at one of the nation's best lineman prospect in action on both sides of the ball. A great first step and a motor that doesn't quit. Another thing that highlight tapes do not show that breaking down game film does is endurance. At 6'6" many kids tend to wear out playing both sides of the ball. Not this kid. A total package that you will hear a great deal in the future.

There is also a new underclassmen "Play of the Day" on a top national QB prospect. The "Play of the Day" can be located in the main menu.
There will be many more trips scheduled also. All this being said, this entire website is a one-man show and it will take time to get all of this done. With well over 100 schools who have already submitted game tapes, I will be spending 70+ hours a week editing and breaking down film. The work will go on, just be patient!
